Special General Meeting
TTG Kingfishers have held a Special General Meeting on November 15 to pass a resolution to adopt a new Club Constitution. The meeting was held at Waterworld with an excellent attendance. The new constitution is on our website. Thanks to all our members for supporting this process.

Endurance Swimming
TTG Kingfishers have continued with the Endurance 1000 Program in 2020. Club coordinator Des Mulqueen has been holding regular sessions throughout the year and we will have a club winner. The National program was cancelled due to Cocid-19.

Women achieve state record
TTG Kingfishers women achieved a State Record at Interclub 4. Rachel Thorpe, Angela Vas, Ros Gumbys and Helen Haberfield. Well done.

TTG finishes 2nd in Interclub 4
TTG Kingfishers finished 2nd in Interclub #4 – Relays. A great effort. Three State Records were achieved – congratulations to the team members. Kingfishers finished Runner up in the Interclub Series which has now concluded. Well done everyone.

Rosalind Gumbys Achieves Maximum Score in Endurance 1000
Rosalind Gumbys effort in achieving the maximum score in the 2017 Endurance 1000 was recognised at Interclub 1 with presentation of her Certificate by Phil Beames. Her 62 swims enabled Ros to be joint winner in her age group in Australia and highest point score winner in South Australia. This is the first time the maximum score has been achieved in South Australia. Well done Ros and thanks to Des for all the timing.

The Kingfishers Play Lawn Bowls
On 30 April we had a really great social event showing off our fantastic bowling styles. It was easy to see why we are swimmers and not bowlers.

Rosalind Gumbys Achieves Maximum Score in Endurance 1000
Congratulations Rosalind for achieving the maximum possible score in the Endurance 1000 in 2017. Her 62 swims enabled Ros to be joint winner in her age group in Australia and highest point score winner in South Australia. This is the first time the maximum score has been achieved in South Australia. Ros’ efforts were acknowledged at the Club Annual Dinner and Presentation Night.

End of Summer Season/Beginning of Winter Season
The last swim at Waterworld for the Summer Season will be Friday 13 April 2018. Details to follow for a Club dinner that night.
The first swim at The ARC for the Winter Season will be Monday 16 April.
The ARC training times will be
Monday 7.30 – 8.30pm
Wednesday 7 – 8pm
Friday 7 -8pm
Also remember there is Club training every Saturday 10 – 11am. This is an uncoached session but there is a training program. Cost $5.
